Creative Services Director

Sarah brings an artistic flair to multimedia production, graphic design, and web implementation to Nourie Group, helping clients move more confidently through the modern digital landscape. Her knowledge of design, the digital ecosystem, and creative dynamic web content, including podcasts and video, enable our go-to market strategies to flow naturally when presenting in person and on social media, and motivates audiences to take action. Sarah is an aspiring illustrator (see www.sarahrnourie.com).

Sarah is a recent graduate of Kenyon College, where she studied creative writing and studio art.

Client Services Manager

As a client services manager at Nourie Group, Melissa combines her marketing and sales experience with her people skills to help maintain client satisfaction by acting as a client concierge. She helps to keep lines of communication open by assisting and following up with clients’ various needs and requests. Melissa has had her Real Estate license in Connecticut for over 10 years and brings her personal customer care and savvy for making connections to the Nourie Group team.

Melissa is a graduate of Eastern Connecticut State University.

HANNAH LOGAN / Washington, DC
EntrepreNourie Collegiate Scholar

Hannah Logan is our 2018 EntrepreNourie Collegiate Scholar that we award to one undergraduate student per Fall semester, upon successfully completing a summer associate program at our offices in New York. With a generalist background which is applicable to startup/entrepreneurial environments, Hannah is a hands-on tactical resource for us internally, as well as select startup clients. Her contributions thus far have included the creation of a niche-market content portal for a startup that required Wordpress know-how; the development of an editorial and social policy; content selection; the development of a customer engagement program including the use of Survey Monkey and other relevant tools, all in 30 days. For the Fall Semester 2018, between her studies at George Washington University and her philanthropic commitments, Hannah will continue to support our internal needs in the capacity of marketing, communications and the grooming our next crop of EntrepreNourie Collegiate Scholar candidates.

Hannah is a student at George Washington University.


Matt Cancelmo / Philadelphia Office
Healthcare / Lead Advisor

With 25 years of sales and marketing experience in the bioscience field with the likes of Allos, Imclone, Biogen and Genentech, Matt advises clients in building enduring partnerships across and beyond the medical field – with academics and policy makers, healthcare professionals and patient advocates, regulators and payers with his impressive network of KOLs and influencers. With a combination of content expertise, industry experience and detailed execution, our mission is to help science-driven companies and brands formulate and articulate their stories in compelling words and creative visualizations, delivered across both traditional venues and new platforms and media. Grounded in research data, our work product is informed by regulatory expertise and compliance with industry guidelines.

Matt is working towards earning an MES from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his undergraduate degree from McDaniel College with a BA in Business Administration and Biology.


CHASEY ALLEN / New York Office
Social Media Strategist

Chasey Allen specializes in marketing strategy, social media execution, and project management. She has worked in the sales & marketing departments at major corporations like Medsite and thus WebMD since they acquired Medsite. The acquisition has enabled WebMD to provide its pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers with an expanded set of online solutions to increase sales and marketing efficiencies, and complement their direct physician detailing efforts. In addition to corporate marketing, she has experience working with start-ups and foundations. Chasey began her career at Random House Publishing.

Chasey is a graduate of Colby College.


PHIL NOURIE / New York Office
Founder and Growth Mindset Leader

With 20 years’ experience in building B2B companies via a deep knowledge in marketing communications, from start-ups to middle market firms, Phil has built a strong reputation as a valued partner for senior executives across multiple industries. He offers the combination of corporate, investor relations knowledge, and strategic counsel that many companies need today in order to seize opportunities and compete aggressively in a fast-moving business environment. As an entrepreneur himself, having built and sold two previous firms in New York, Phil is particularly skilled at navigating corporate relationships between founders, partners, board members, investors and other key stakeholders. Outside of his daily duties, Phil currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Greater Bridgeport Youth Orchestras. He is an active member of the Union League. Previously, he was a board member of PASE and an advisory board member of the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation for which his firm rebranded the nonprofit organization.

Phil is a graduate of Lebanon Valley College where he is a member of the College President’s Leadership Council. He completed a post-graduate internship at Columbia University with a concentration in Sports Information.

Fred started as a feature writer and editor of business magazines (ADWEEK, Food & Beverage Marketing, Inside Media), where his hallmark was insightful features on industry developments that news reporters missed. He moved on to business marketing in 1993, and has since helped more than 70 companies stake territory at the forefront of their industries through a combination of provocative articles, visionary presentations and meaningful news. Among other highlights, he defined the social marketing genre for The Huffington Post; made Reader’s Digest the architect of a new media measurement; established the Video Advertising Bureau as a beacon in the advertising business; and showcased executive search consultants as industry authorities for Korn/Ferry, Ward Howell, Spencer Stuart and Christian & Timbers. Other notable clients have included Rosetta-Razorfish, Publishing Group of America, Exec-U-Net, Elite SEM, Merryck & Co., American Business Media, Advertiser Perceptions and AES Corporation.

Fred is a graduate of Dartmouth College and The Loomis Chaffee School. He is a director and former co-chairman of the board of Getting Out & Staying Out (www.gosonyc.org), a New York City anti-recidivism organization.

Industry veteran David Paro has been navigating brands like McDonald’s, Target, Staples, Hershey, Budweiser and Oscar Mayer for over 20 years. A leading sponsorship marketing strategist, David has experience across a wide variety of sports and entertainment properties with significant expertise in Olympics, motorsports, NFL and live events. As the head of US sports alliances at McDonald's Corporation, David oversaw the fast-food leader's extensive sponsorship portfolio. Following McDonald's, David led the consulting division at ProServ/SFX where he earned Forty Under 40 honors from Sports Business Journal. David also served as EVP at Van Wagner Sports & Entertainment, heading the consulting and experiential divisions, which handled work for MetLife, Johnson Controls and Zillow. Prior to Van Wagner, David ran his own firm for 13 years.

David is a graduate of Wake Forest University.
